Each one of these homemade conditioners for damaged hair will improve your hair’s health. The good news is that neither of them takes more than a couple of minutes to make. And you have all the ingredients in your nearby supermarket.
1. Eggs and banana
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 2 ripe bananas
How to make it?
- Mash the bananas with a fork
- Blend the mashed mass with an egg in a blender
- Continue mixing it until you get an even structure
Process:
- Apply the mixture on the scalp
- Leave it on for 20 minutes
- Wash it off
How often?
- Once or twice a week
Benefits:
- Proteins in eggs and bananas encourage hair growth
- This conditioner hydrates the hair strands
- Banana’s natural oils protect the hair

2. Yogurt, egg, and avocado
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. of olive oil

How to make it?
- Blend the ingredients with some water until you get a consistent mass

- Apply warm (make sure it’s not too hot) coconut oil all over the roots and the hair strands
- Put on a shower cap
- Leave it on for 2 hours (or even overnight if your hair is extra dry)
- Wash it off thoroughly

- 2 times a week

4. Apple cider vinegar
Ingredients:
- 4 tbsps. of apple cider vinegar

- Make sure your hair is clean
- Apply the conditioner on damp hair
- Leave it on for 30 minutes
- Rinse the hair off

5. Coconut milk and honey

- 200g of coconut milk
- 2 tbsps. of honey
How to make it?

- Make sure your hair is damp
- Massage the mixture into your scalp
- Leave it on for 1 hour
- Wash your hair at least twice (honey is difficult to wash off)

6. Aloe vera and lemon
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. of lemon juice

Process:
- After you’re done shampooing, massage all the ingredients starting from the root of the hair
- Put a shower cap on
- Leave it for half an hour
- Wash the conditioner off with lukewarm water

- Warm the oil (be careful not to make it too hot)
- Stir the oil

- Apply the oil to dry hair
- Massage the conditioner from the root downwards
- Put a shower cap on
- Leave the oil for 15 minutes on the hair
- Comb your hair
- Shampoo and rinse it off
How often?
- Once a week if you have dry hair
- Once a month if you have oily hair
